poetry 101 rehab: thaw

AJT_3722

like an iceberg, broken away

i drift, dwindle, diminish

current taking me away

others float, others diminish

my path uncharted

where will i finish

will it ever end, or just diminish

fade away, or, as it started

end, in

collision

poetry 101 rehab: right

“There comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but he must take it because conscience tells him it is right.” ― Martin Luther King Jr., A Testament of Hope
“there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic…”
―martin luther king jr, a testament of hope

there was once a young man who flew a kite

who knew that nothing he did was right

he tried, oh he tried, to be heard

it wasn’t until the third

that he saw the light, and knew he was right

(a limerick for mara’s poetry rehab – right)

(and for lucile’s the photo 101 rehab – the clinic)

*shot with nikon d700, 50mm f/1.4 lens and…no editing in any app at all*

poetry 101 rehab: second

second take
second take

do you remember how it felt in november
never a thought given to being a member
of that, most exclusive, club
can you remember, oh that is the rub
eventually, when you think it may
soon be time, to

pay

(for  mara’s poetry rehab – second and lucile’s photo rehab)

*shot with nikon d700 with nikkor  50mm f/1.4 lens, edited using adobe bridge, photoshop cc and analog efex pro2 with wet plate and double exposure filters applied, not  a second to lose*

poetry 101 rehab: habit

There was once a grumpy old blogger called Andy

Who thought his photos quite handy

He tried his hand at writing

Struggled with the lighting

And developed a habit by Mond’y.
