―martin luther king jr, a testament of hope
there was once a young man who flew a kite
who knew that nothing he did was right
he tried, oh he tried, to be heard
it wasn’t until the third
that he saw the light, and knew he was right
(a limerick for mara’s poetry rehab – right)
(and for lucile’s the photo 101 rehab – the clinic)
*shot with nikon d700, 50mm f/1.4 lens and…no editing in any app at all*
Very beautiful limerick and a photo full of life and peace.

I love this very much. In particular the “kite” rhyme, which is original and unexpected but fits well. Also, am I reading optimism underlying the poem? I’m shocked 😉 And thank you for joining my Rehab.

Make you think about how many must have given up after the first time.

Never give up trying, or maybe never learn?

Thanks Mitch! I really appreciate that because this shot was straight out of the (digital) can with no editing at all…

Thanks Mitch, I agree! I need to spend more time thinking before I shoot. Maybe this weekend I will take my Olympus OM10 out for walk and see what I can do…

Thank you, and this picture was not edited in any way which is a very rare occurrence with me at the moment!
