fear has no power, and the fear of freedom shrinks and vanishes
you are free

freedom
in whose name?
freedom
to maim and shame?
freedom
in whose name?
freedom
to put to the flame?
freedom
in whose name?
freedom
it’s a crying shame
to know what we do in ‘their’
name
.

I know. It’s been dreadful.

This is thought-provoking, Andy…it’s sickening to think about how much gets done in the name of deities…this reminds of of a David Francey song called ‘Morning Train’ – google it if you get a chance 🙂

So honest and truly a devastation. Marshall law is just one breath away.

Powerful words, Andy, and apt to many interpretations. Instead of the Brussels events, your words simply brought me to the decisions we take throughout life, afraid of freedom.

Thank you Lucile, sometimes the little things, the mundane, the reflection in the mirror, are harder to face than the bullets and bombs of the terrorists.

Too many foster blame elsewhere. Oft to things ‘Holy’.
Can our children who have only learned from skewed history, lead us into freedom without restrictions?

We can only try to make sure we give them the best and most balanced view we can. And lead by example?

Or in some cases..children learn what not to do by the examples of their elders. But not us, right?
