Do you miss the Writing 201 Poetry course by the Daily Post? If so, then join this blogging challenge and let the poetry flow!
How does it work?
Feel free to answer the prompt, twist it or ignore it; write a poem of your own or share a poem by another author. Write about your inspiration, your creative process or other poetry related thoughts, but this is in no way obligatory. Nothing is obligatory in this challenge. The idea is to get together, talk poetry and have fun!
How can you take part?
Anyone can take part, anytime you want. Publish your poetry post and add a link to it by clicking on the Poetry 101 Rehab badge below or share your link in a comment. Use the tag Poetry 101 Rehab, so we can find each other in the Reader.
I will act as your host, and I’ll be here for you to reply to your comments, read your poetry, like and comment. While this post is the starting point for the challenge, do visit fellow poets in the link-up and chat to them on their blogs!
This week’s prompt is CHANGES.
changes
change us,
phases
faze us,
changes
and, chains
that bind
us,
change
us
What will your take on the keyword CHANGES be? Blog about it in a poetry post and share your link in the comments section of this post and by clicking on the Poetry 101 Badge above.
A mash up:
Imaginable Transformation?

I love how you combined the captivating photograph with the poem/ Short in form, but very powerful.

I love the image you use. It’s lovely and I love in equal measure your poem.
I’m not even sure how this one came about, I think some sneaky little creature grabbed my pen and took off with it. Luckily, I rather like it, so here’s the result: https://tuckedintoacorner.wordpress.com/2015/11/17/poetry-101-rehab-changes/

We really do, with all the poeple fleeing to other countries, leaving their homes behind and all the terror and violence going around the world.

There is too much terror, right now, and I wonder what we are all going to do about it sometimes.

Just a poem made from general and some specific observations, this time. Changes open so much potential.

Here is my take on this week’s prompt. https://oudeis2005.wordpress.com/2015/11/20/poetry-rehab-changes-expo-1893/ It is, as is my wont, somehat heavy and dark. But also fun, in a sinistre kind of way. I try to reflect the world I see around me. It also fulfills a promise to write a companion piece on the World Fair of 1893 to accompany the one I wrote earlier this year on the World Fair of 1851.

A tour de force in response to my simple prompt, there is a week’s worth or reading here, as always!

I think this style of writing really suits you.
You never misplace a word and it’s always meaningful, something to think about.
Well, here’s my try:

Thank you, your very kind (again), I like your poem, although I doubt we can, or should, ever retrace our steps once the wind has blown them away..
