ornate

prose is architecture and the baroque age is over

our lives are often too ornate?

keepsakes, that are intended to remind us.

of what?

of things, we once did, felt, saw, wanted?

what is a ‘keepsake’?

for whose sake?

what matters is what lies within.

and, often, those ‘keepsakes’ are just, well just

too

ornate?
