  1. I love the use of unforgiving structure here! It reads like a downward spiral, like dark blotches of ink that suddenly take meaning. I can’t even imagine how you came to writing this but it’s absolutely amazing. A new favourite of mine (;

  4. Because you’re work encompasses both photography and poetry – that is what is special. Many people can do either/or but not both. What this brought up for me – I write a prison blog for someone I am close to. We’ve been writing for over 7 years. Because prisons are very racist he has spent a lot of time in solitary confinement. I am writing a book based on his letters. One day I wrote a chapter called, “The Nightmare” and the next day I got a letter from him about a recurring nightmare he was having. He felt something bad was going to happen. It did. He’s back in solitary. Reading your poem made me think of endless nights locked in a 5 by 8 ft cement box. I really like the way you use double exposures. It has a haunting feeling. I recently started another blog just for chapter excerpts. I had to hunt through stock photos to find something that temporarily represented what I want for a book cover. Covers can make or break the book. This is my first book and I still have a lot to write. If you would take a look I think you’ll see what I’m trying to say This is not a happy book. Have you ever done any book covers?     1. Thank you very much for this. Your project sounds fascinating, I will go and read your blog, it sounds like a very challenging project. And I will take a look at your book also, I’ve never done a book cover although I would love to do so.
