poetry 101 rehab: day

2015_04_18_01463-Edit-Edit

in the space, of a day

what would you say

all the things, you wanted to say

those things about love and longing, fancies and fears

things about war and want, famines and floods

or, maybe just a few words about the space

the space where she lay

in just the space

of a day

(for mara eastern’s poetry 101 rehab – day)

  1. The day when I will meet you

    Falling in love,
    Fading out of reality,
    Falling into my dreams.

    I am staying behind,
    Waiting for the day
    To finally come.

    Impatiently because of you.
    Incomplete without you.
    Impossible not to love.

    Make the day come
And let me know when –
I need the day to be.

    The day we will happen.
    The day we will start…
    To pass every day together.

You have made me thinking of my first stanza which was an unfinished poem I tried to finish the whole last week.
I am so happy that you did because now I have finished it and I am so happy how it turned out 🙂
    Thank you!

I love your poem your choice of words and the flow of your rhytmic pattern makes it feel like a dream. And yet the feelings seem all so incredibly real.
You are a great writer. There’s no doubt about that.
